2009/2010 Season

A warm welcome to all. Come and be a part of a vibrant family orientated Junior Section.

For the 2009/2010 season the Junior Section has a new Chairperson, this being Sharon Jones. Plese read Sharon's Newsletter on the News and Events page.

Llangefni Rugby Club runs several junior teams from under 8's to under 16's. Children from Year 1 to Year 11 are welcome to join. Last year was a success under the leadership of Arwyn Philips and Rhys Roberts. We are keen to carry on with this success. This season we would like to see a growth in the numbers of players in the Under 8s and Under 9s age group. We invite children who are in Year 1, Year 2 and 3 at Primary School to join - they will play Tag Rugby until they reach Under 9s

Coaching and Training

Coaching / Training runs every Sunday morning - 10.30 to Midday (12:00) - all age groups very welcome.

Mid week training sessions are also organised - days and times vary according to age groups and team coaches arrangements.

Enthusiastic coaches and parental support make the junior section a thriving part of a successful rugby club.

Junior Membership Fees : £20/family

Weekly subscriptions : £1/child

Two passport type photographs required for registration.

Parents / guardian must be present for the first session/registration and we do urge parents of younger children (especially primary age) to stay and watch, support, mingle and get to know everyone.

Shorts - These must be Navy Blue

Socks - These must be red

Gum shields must be used for training and playing.

Anyone who forgets or does not have a gumshield can buy one from the kitchen on Sundays.

Each gumshield will be £2 this season.

Navy blue shorts and red socks required.
